What a posting coincidence Holly! Well, if you are facing the entry walking to Green Cay you take the first right, pass the Gazebo and walk for another 50 ft or so and that is where i heard a call. So, i put 2+2 together and walk right out to the parking lot and took an immediate right and walked south another 50 ft to where the bird came to some of the pine trees bordering the parking lot.
I have considered the Ash-throated flycatcher but their eyes look a lot smaller than the species we saw and the ash-throated pictures i have seen online shows more yellow on the lower belly area. I will attach a couple of pictures later. I did have a pleasure to meet Sandy Komido and Lisa Peterfreund who have her bino with her and a Sibley's book with her. She helped narrow down to the most likely suspect: La Sagra based on all the characteristics we both saw. Take care, Marcello
