Budgies are not found in southern Florida; they're in west-central Florida (and fading fast). Contrary to many sources -- including field guides -- Budgies were never found in southeastern Florida in any real numbers, and there's no report of confirmed breeding.
Here are the drections to one of the two remaining sites, as posted by Bev Hansen to BRDBRAIN, a St. Pete-based list.
