There are two female Lesser Scaups in a small lake just west of Cutler Wetlands. They are in a small community with at least two lakes just off of Old Cutler Road. The lake can be seen from the intersection of SW 229 Lane and SW 104 Place. Blue-winged Teal were also present. I have seen very few scaups at inland locations this far south.

There was little out of the ordinary at Cutler Wetlands. In the late afternoon, six Bronzed Cowbirds were mixed in the blackbird flock sitting on the wires across the road on the north side of the wetlands.

Happy holidays,
Alex
