We had beautiful weather and a fantastic crew of birders this year for our count. The 'Glades were very wet and the species list reflects this. We missed some of our regular count birds and picked up a few unexpected species. Our total was 122 species and no count week birds. This is the 3rd highest species total in the 13 years of this count's history.
Many, many thanks to all the participants in the four parties! We greatly appreciate the Boy Scout Council's help and the ENP staff's friendly assistance with access.
