There were no surprises during the count with 58 species tallied. Few migrants were around, with only 4 warbler species represented, including Magnolia. Bobolink and Indigo Bunting were other migrants.

On Crandon Beach, birds of interest: Western Sandpiper, Wilson's, Piping, Black-bellied and Semipalmated Plover, Short-billed Dowitcher, 2 Great Black-backed Gulls, 30 Least Terns and 2 Northern Gannets offshore.
