I am currently at Boyton Beach Inlet standing on the pier, and at about 3:20 I had a flock of 21 Razorbills flying south less than a quarter mile of the beach. I had been patiently waiting for the single individual seen since 12/9 to show up when I thought a group of scoters were passing by. I got the scope on them and realized what they were. They were only a few hundred feet off the end of the pier.

A group of ten were reported about a mile off of Daytona Beach recently. Their numbers off of Florida must be extraordinarily high if flocks are being seen.

And here I thought the best bird of the day would be Bonaparte's Gull, with about 26 flying from offshore and into the inlet.

Alex
