Tomorrow begins count week for the Miami Christmas Bird Count; the actual count takes place this Saturday and count week ends next Tuesday. I would greatly appreciate hearing about any interesting birds seen within the count circle during this period. A link to the count circle map is below. What is an "interesting bird?" Razorbill certainly qualifies, but so do White-winged Parakeet, Spot-breasted Oriole, Painted Bunting, etc. Anyone living within the circle is invited to share backyard or neighborhood bird sightings from count day or count week.
