Apparently I did not need to drive all the way to Boynton Beach this morning to see a Razorbill, but I did not know that before I started out. The Boynton Inlet Razorbill was not as accomodating as it had been on the last two days, but it was still present around 9:30 a.m. this morning. It was seen a couple hundred yards North-Northeast of the pier. A scope was needed for a satisfactory view this morning. The bird was most easily seen when flying; it tended to disappear for long periods while sitting on the water.
Other birds of interest in the area were Black Scoter, Northern Gannet, and Common Loon. A small flock of the newly ABA-countable Nanday Parakeets sat on the utility wires and palm trees across the road from the inlet.
