Sad news from Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary here in Naples. No -- zero, none, nada -- Wood Storks fledged this year. This does not bode well for Woodstorks in South Florida as the last few years have not been good for breeding success either. Nor is it so bright in the rest of the state per this Naples Daily News article. The article from the Naples Daily News is in a PDF file on the Caloosa Bird Club's website.
