I just got a call from Tallahassee birder Rodney Cassidy saying that on Saturday he observed two Bahama Swallows on No Name Key for about 30 minutes. He had never seen this species before, but was very confident that he had correctly ID'd them. He said he was absolutely sure that they had forked tails and were entirely white on the underparts, including the breast and throat. He did not know to look for the white wing linings. He said that the delay in reporting them was due to him not knowing exactly how rare they are. He knew they were rare, just not RARE.

He observed them on Saturday around noon about 1/4 to 1/2 mile (on foot) down Paradise Drive which is on No Name Key 1.2 miles from the bridge. Directions are also in Pranty (ABA Guide to FL) on page 256.

These have not been confirmed by other birders, but I thought I should get the word out in case anybody was going to be down that way. Please post if you see these birds!
