The Artifical Nest Box Project was a dismal failure because all five nest boxes were taken over by africanized bees. I have some horrible pics and videos of the almost Hill Mynah fleglings killed by the bees and the parents getting stung. Janice Boyd reported that in Belize they are getting a 50% mortality of chicks from Africanized bees. Caroline Efstathion is studing how to protect the nests.
