Started the morning at Matheson Hammock and staked out the parking lot for the Blue-winged Warbler with Toe. The bird was seen again and was hanging out with a Northern Parula. Everytime we saw the Parula the Blue-winged was close behind. From Matheson I went over to the People's Dock next to Deering Estate and sea watched the bay for 30 mins. I had 3 Common Loon, 1 Red-breasted Merganser and 2 female Black Scoter. They were all relatively close and gave good looks. After a meeting I made it over to Bill Sadowski where I came across a nice feeding flock behind the nature center with 2 Blue-headed Vireos, 1 Prairie Warbler, several Palm Warblers and an Orange-crowned Warbler. American Goldfinches were seen across the canal in an Australian Pine in someone's yard and the Hermit Thrush was seen in the hammock trail. The thrush was very cooperative showing off the rufous tail and flicking it's wings.
