This morning, I paid another visit to Campbell Day Use Area (STA 3/4) on Holeyland Road in Palm Beach County. Duck numbers were unimpressive; only four species. I continue to wonder why this STA rarely attracts the diversity of birds seen at STA 1E or STA 5.

Here's what I encountered:
Mottled Duck
Blue-winged Teal
Green-winged Teal
Ring-necked Duck
Pied-billed Grebe
Double-crested Cormorant
Anhinga
American Bittern
Least Bittern (heard many)
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Snowy Egret
Little Blue Heron
Tricolored Heron
Green Heron
White Ibis
Glossy Ibis
Roseate Spoonbill
Wood Stork
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture
Osprey
Northern Harrier
Red-shouldered Hawk
American Kestrel
Peregrine Falcon
Purple Swamphen
Common Gallinule
American Coot
Limpkin (heard one)
Killdeer
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Least Sandpiper
Long-billed Dowitcher
Caspian Tern
Mourning Dove
Belted Kingfisher
Eastern Phoebe
Loggerhead Shrike
Tree Swallow
Northern Rough-winged Swallow
Marsh Wren
Palm Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Swamp Sparrow
Red-winged Blackbird
Boat-tailed Grackle
