While exploring Sisal Pond this morning I flushed a few Wood Storks that were hanging out together, one juvenile bird stayed behind and allowed me to get within about ten yards of it I noticed it had a green band with the #/letter 50N on the right leg.I did not/could not see bands on any of the other Storks. Birded a couple of other areas within the park until about noon, here are some other notable species:
American Robin
American Goldfinch
Roseate Spoonbill
Nothern Harrier
Hooded Merganser
Nothern Pintail
Yellow Rumped Warbler(myrtle) in abudance
Pine Warbler
Downy Woodpecker
Great Blue Heron(white form)
Palm Warbler
Common Yellowthroat Warbler
Eastern Phoebe
Blue Winged Teal
Green Winged Teal
