Hey birders! Today I went birdwatching across the road from Matheson and Fairchild in search of the Connecticut Warbler. I came out empty but had a pretty nice fallout. These are the numbers:
Gray-cheecked Thrush- 1
Veery- 1
Yellow Warbler- beautiful male!
Cape May Warbler- about 10
Black-throated Blue Warbler- 5
Blackpoll Warbler- about 15
American Redstart- many
Worm-eating Warbler- 2
Common Yellowthroat- 2
Northern Waterthrush- 1
Ovenbird- 2
Cedar Waxwings- about 70! in the Australian Pines
In my neighborhood I found a pair of Hill Mynas nesting in a live Royal Palm. Thats weird. Dont they nest in cavitys? I also found the Screech Owls at there cavity. Now I also have a pair of Yellow-chevroned Parakeets coming to my feeders frequently!! Great birding!
