We had a nice walk at A D Barnes. There was a lot more activity there than the last time I walked the park early last week. I finally got a good look at a Black Whiskered Vireo. I have been on several walks where others got a look or we heard its call, but I never got a look. This little fellow sat still for me in one spot for about 3-4 minutes. The funny thing about it was the part of his head with the whiskers was hidden by a branch and I couldn't seem to peer around it to get the ID. He did finally move enough for me to see and get a few photos.
Here is the list of the most interesting sightings.
BT Blues - lots of females
Black Polls
Cape May
Black Whiskered Vireo
Worm Eating
Female Scarlet Tanager
Red Start (30-40)
Ovenbird
White Crown Pigeon
