A La Sagra's Flycatcher was found at Birch SP, Ft.Lauderdale this evening by myself and Monte Stickel, with somewhat briefer views obtained by Bryant Roberts and April Stickel. The bird called once during observation which confirmed the ID. The bird was found on the scenic drive, on the east side of the loop through the park. Look for the second fire hydrant on the left and the yellow marker a 100 yards or so further north on the road (exercise station 14 is nearby). The bird was in the trees just before the yellow marker on the west side of the road. A male Connecticut Warbler (found by Monte that morning) was also present where the trail exits onto the road just before the exercise station.

The Thick-billed Vireo was also showing intermittently
between 4-5pm at the Anne Kolb Nature Center at West Lake Park.
