On Sunday at 6:00 or close to it a Barn Owl flew across the south field over to the north field. It was closer to the picnic area/canal then to the road to the hammock. Whippoorwills were calling and flying around. We were to late for the Lesser Nighthawks. For those birds timing is everything.
