Brown Thrashers

About 4:00 pm today I found 2 brown thrashers in Miami Beach at the corner of 18th and Lenox, not too far from Lincoln Road. They were bringing insects into a dense ficus hedge- hopefully they have some fledglings. First time Ive ever seen this bird in South Beach..In same area a female Rose-breasted grosebeak, several redstarts, a few cedar waxwings and chimney swifts.
