Several Lesser Nighthawks at C-111

20 Lesser Nighthawks were observed outside Everglades National Park, over C-111 Canal on November 19 after sundown, from 5:40 to 5:55 pm. I also saw 12 on Nov 21, and 2 yesterday Nov 22 in the same vicinity. The birds have been foraging low over the canal and continue north and westward over 9336 towards the agricultural fields. 2 Barn Owls were also seen foraging after sundown all 3 days.
