We here at Biscayne National Park will be conducting our Christmas Bird Count (CBC) on December 14th 2012 from 7:30AM until 2PM. We'll survey the park's mainland area, and shoreline & jetty before we split into teams and travel via boat to various locations throughout the park. Each team will break for lunch on one of the keys, and later return to the park headquarters to rally & tally. Unfortunately, boat capacity is limited therefore we must limit the number of participants. If you'd like to participate, please contact me in advance so I can sign you up and reserve your place on a boat. There is also the option to sign up online at http://birds.audubon.org/christmas-bird-count, but this option may not be available until we are closer to our CBC date. Please consider joining us for this annual event.
