The pair of Wood Ducks have returned to the retention pond on the northern edge of the park.
Lots of flycatcher action, particularly along the western perimeter fence including Western Kingbird, Least Flycatcher and Phoebe.
Much better warbler numbers this week - recent sightings include B&W, Northern Parula, Yellow-throated, Orange-Crowned (they seem to always be travelling with the Catbirds),Magnolia,Pine and lots of Palms. I also ran into a sizable flock of Blue-Headed and Yellow-Throated Vireos along Turtle Run Bvd walking back to the parking lot.
The Broad-Winged Hawk was still around this morning, as were the GHOs, Cooper's Hawk and a Kestrel (on the power lines).
