Led a bird walk for Deering Goes To The Birds This Morning. Only a couple of us were on the walk. At about 9:00 we found a Thick-billed Vireo outside the Deering property. On 72 ave and 164 Ter there is a gate that closes off 72 Ave to vehicles. The vireo was in the brush to your left looking north just past the gate. Later Larry, Trey, Roxanne and I failed to relocate the bird, but time of day could have been a factor. Too bad the walk was not at Merritt Island!
