A few years ago a friend of mine (non-birder}who had a condo on the 10th floor of one of the high-rises on The Galt Ocean Mile brought me photos of a Peregrine devouring a Laughing Gull on his balcony{probably not scavenging}.This had happened several times and apparently the people living on the floors below were getting upset with the debris.The bird moved on before the condo-police had to "shoo it off".
I haven't seen the 2 juvies and adult in about 8 days.The local Collared Doves numbered around 30 a month ago ,now around 10-15 and seem Much more alert/skittish.I never witnessed a kill but numbers don't lie. Hey , I'm just sayin....
