After visiting Rafael at the Hawkwatch yesterday we were fortunate to find 12 Scissor-tailed Flycatchers (nary a Fork-tailed) in Marathon perched on the wires lining the bayside of US1 near the sign for Banana Bay Resort and Marina at mm 49.5. When was the last time this many Scissor-taileds were found together in S. Florida?

A Bonaparte's gull was later seen floating and flying near Indian Key.

Congrats to Rafael and Ted on their record breaking season.
