: : : : I had a good week this last part of the week Birding in the Keys. A Mangrove Cuckoo in Sugarloaf Key, Swainson's Warbler at Z. Taylor Park in Key West, and best of all a La Sagra's Flycatcher in Key Largo. Other birds included Indigo buntings, Worm Eating Warbler, American Redstarts, Ovenbird, Least Terns to mention a few.

: : : Where was the La Sagra's Flycatcher located in Key Largo???? Was it calling?

: : It was located just outside the entrance to Harris Park in Tavenier. It flew into a tree right next to the road as I drove out of the park. I didn't hear it calling as I was in was in the car. I was able to stop and get a very good look at it. Very nice look at the crest.
