Jeanne and I were the Minnesota birders that joined you and Rock in seeing the Shiny Cowbird and Mangrove Cuckoo. We enjoyed meeting both of you and birding with you.

We were saddened to see your post about the dead ANI. We saw two ANIs last Tuesday at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport, one Smooth-billed and one Groove-billed. We expected to see two more Smooth-billed based upon previous posts, but did not see any others.

We did find three Bronzed Cowbirds at the Eagle Lakes Community Park near Naples thanks to the heads-up you and Rock gave us.
