While guiding yesterday, I found a Wilson's Warbler in a grove of trees between the Mahoney-Pearson Dining Hall and the West Laboratory School on the extreme northeast end of the University of Miami campus. The little, bright yellow bird was associating with a feeding flock containing Palm Warblers, a Northern Parula, a Black-and-white Warbler, and attendant Blue-gray Gnatcatchers.
Also of interest on campus was a feeding flock in the traffic circle in front of the Toppel Career Center that included a Summer Tanager and a Yellow-throated Vireo.
Several Blue-and-yellow Macaws flew into the Royal Palms near sunset.
