On Monday I was able to see three adult male Painted Buntings and two green ones which could be either immature male or female. I hope that the number of birds increases, they have a hard time competing with the larger birds. I am still getting Shiny Cowbirds at my feeders and an occasional Browned Cowbird. The Nutmeg Mannikins also continue to visit the feeders. I have been hoping for some other cool seed-eater with the crazy winds that we have had.
