Final BIG Flight of Migrants for October over the Keys

7366 raptors were counted in southwestward flight at the Florida Keys Hawkwatch on October 30, 2012.
This included:
5714 Turkey Vultures - the biggest single day count for that species in project history.
1398 Broad-winged Hawks - surpassing the previous single day high for this species at the FKH site.
56 Swainson's Hawks - awesome.
54 Cooper's Hawks - it's about time Accipiters started showing up.
And others such as:
68 Northern Gannets
Seven swallow species including Cave and Cliff (Trees are already being seen).
Scissor-tailed Flycatchers
Grasshopper and Savannah Sparrows
and much more.
