The amphitheater area in Everglades National Park's Flamingo Campground was swarming with shorebirds this morning. I was able to find 16 species:
Black-bellied Plover
Wilson's Plover
Semipalmated Plover
Killdeer
Spotted Sandpiper
Willet
Lesser Yellowlegs
Marbled Godwit
Ruddy Turnstone
Red Knot
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Western Sandpiper
Least Sandpiper
Dunlin
Stilt Sandpiper
Short-billed Dowitcher

On my way into the park, I stopped at the field on the north side of SR 9336, opposite Aerojet Road. Among the species seen here were:
Northern Bobwhite
White-tailed Kite
Northern Harrier
Peregrine Falcon
Sandhill Crane
Western Kingbird
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher
