Gary and I spent a few hours birding on this very blustery day with the highlights being great looks again at the Vermillion Flycatcher at its usual spot at the canal around 7:30 a.m.and several Western Kingbirds and a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher in the trees by the fence and the field across 9336 north of Lucky Hammock around 9:00 a.m.We also had one very vocal Brown-headed Nuthatch at Long Pine Key.
