Larry,

I am a visiting birder from CA. This morning at Spanish River, I saw the female Western Spindalis at site
#9, and also a young male Western tanager. The tanager had a small amount of red on the face, dark
wings with two prominent wing bars, one yellow, and the other white. Last night at Loxahachee there
were 9 lesser nighthawks. I'm seeing this from my Das's e-mail address in Lauderdale. I don't subscribe
to any of the local maillists, so I wanted to let someone know that these birds were around.
