A stop by Lucky Hammock this morning from 6:45-8:45 AM produced most of the "usual" birds. On the whole, it did not seem to be terribly birdy. Some highlights: Brown Thrasher, Indigo (numerous) and Painted Buntings, White-eyed, Blue-headed and Bell's Vireos, Black-throated Green and Wilson's Warblers. A Sharp-shinned Hawk kept things quiet on the east side. A Lincoln's Sparrow is still present and is singing halfheartedly. It was on the west side of BRUSHY area ~100 yds. from the "T" of dirt roads.

The LH list is expanding -- CJ had Eastern Kingbird yesterday and this morning 3-5 Bobolinks flew over at 7:25. CJ will post the list to FloridaBirds-L as soon as he returns from Ft. De Soto.
