I have had several nice sightings the last couple of days. Several Least, Terns-Key Largo, 4 Bobolinks Plantation Key, and 1 Black-billed Cucukoo (Marathon Airport), 2 Whip-poor-wills up close.
Also seems that some of the birds from the mainland come down here in the spring (I have been here only 2 months so am unsure of all the facts.) Today I had 6 Monk Parakeets and a pair of large amazon type parrots. Up until two weeks ago I had not seen any parrots or parakeets here in the keys. Also the Common Minas are thick now. There weren't any here when I arrived in Feburary.
