: Hello everyone!
:
: I am a birder from Massachusetts vacationing in South FL over the upcoming week APR 22-APR 29. I am beginning in Fort Myers and making my way east and south to Miami and Key West. I have Pranty and have looked at the specialty pages at the TAS web site. I am particulaly interested in the following:
:
: Snail Kite
: Wilson's Plover
: any good Parrot roosts
: Bulbul/Oriole (anywhere other than Kendall?)
: Mangrove Cuckoo
: Shiny Cowbird
:
: Also was interested if any of the accidentals are still being reported (Spindalis, Groove-billed Ani) and if any recent sitings of Flamingo.
:
: I bet you all get a ton of requests from birders like me, so if I receive no reply, I'll understand and concentrate on the info I have. OK to e-mail me privately as well.
:
: Thanking everyone in advance........

I saw a Snail Kite in flight last Saturday on the south west side of ECO Pond down at Flamingo in the Everglades.
I also took Snakebite Trail out to the flats to look for Flamingos and saw none. It is my understanding that this was the place to go for Flamingos. Don't let my experiance keep you from trying I understand it is a matter of luck.
As far as I know the only place to find Bulbul's is off Kendall Dr. in the neighborhood just north of Baptist Hospital.
Matheson Hammock on the West side of Old Cutler Road has a lot of parrots there.
Some one else will have to help you with the other request.
Good Luck
