Barnes was good this morning...and actually seemed to pick up this afternoon. About 1:30-2:00 a Swainson's Warbler and a Veery showed up in the area near the boardwalk. We also located the Acadian Flycatcher that Toe had found yesterday. It was still in the area near the chickee. We had 14 species of warblers.
Species seen:
Swainson's Warbler
Blackpoll Warbler
Magnolia Warbler
Northern Waterthrush
Cape May Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Prairie Warbler
Northern Parula
Palm Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
(I believe that Toe and his group also had a Louisiana Waterthrush but I missed it)
Scarlet Tanager
Veery
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Acadian Flycatcher
Tufted Titmouse
Red-eyed Vireo
Blue-headed Vireo
Cedar Waxwing
