On Sunday, 3/24, from approximately 6:30pm to 6:45pm, my sister and I saw a flock of literally a million or more birds flying northward in the Everglades, west of Highway 27. We watched the flock undulate and randomly change direction as flocks do all the time heading north. They looked like a giant swarm of bees. We first noticed them from several miles south of I75 and watched them fly north until we couldn't see them anymore. We were at the first boat ramp on the west side of Highway 27 looking west. Because they were so far away and it was dusk we couldn't identify them and was wondering if anyone else saw them or had a clue as to what type(s) of birds they were.
