For clarity, synoptic weather features aren't actual, physical weather events.
Synoptic analysis is data collection and interpretation of the physical weather, and a way of understanding how actual weather is behaving and may behave over points in time.
In other words, birds won't be affected by data, they'll be affected by what the data reflects!
