Great bird. Figures it would be at Key West, the southern extreme of the state, as these birds seem to like the Florida extremes. They are almost annnual at the extreme western Panhandle. Since I still need that bird, the odds of one in Dade are slim. It's probably gone now, on to south America, where it will spend the winter overlooking a Curlew Sandpiper.
