I was not planning on it when I got to work today but I fell right into a pretty big day! I only birded the Crandon Gardens, North and South Beach portions of the park but if I had the opportunity to check out the Crandon Marina during low tide I may have been able to tick on a couple more birds. I was in from 7:00 am - 5:00 pm but if I were to get in before dawn I should have been able to add Eastern Screech Owl. Also, I missed certain birds that are usually very dependable like Common Ground-Dove, Black Skimmer, Yellow-crowned Night-Heron, Caspian and Sandwich Tern.
