I've been seeing a few Cape May and Tennessee warblers hanging around the last few days at the Publix where I work in Plantation(84 @ Flamingo Rd. They've been feeding in the same Gumbo Limbo trees as the birds I followed last year. No telling if they'll stay the winter as did last year's birds but I'm hoping. It's very noisy with vehicle traffic and people, etc. Also, I birded Markham in the area around the maintainance compex for about an hour this morning from about 8 to 9. Diversity was a little down from what I've been seeing but not a bad morning there except for the noise from all the construction going on. They are demoloshing the old building and building a new one.
So,if you're tired of serene woods and quiet nature trails, come to west Broward for a truly hectic birding experience. Birds seen:

Markham:
American Redstart
Black-throated Blue
Black & White
Magnolia
Ovenbird
Palm
Northern Parula
Common Yellowthroat
White-eyed Vireo
other more common species
