Sorry, about my dangling participle, but inrestingly enough, the Monk Parakeet could talk and asked if I could turn the radio station to an Argentinian radio station. Go figure. Life is good................. attempting to become a functional literate.
P.S. The Fairchild Bird Fesival programs were exceptional. Pete Dunne, the featured speaker on Saturday and Sunday, is quite a raconteur as was very engaging. Local birders: Paddy Cunningham, Brian Rapoza,Rafael Galvez and Joe Barros gave passionate talks regarding birding, that introduced non-birders in the audience to our shared obsession.
