Off 73rd street in Miami Beach, there was quite a bit of birds out in my scope view fom the beach.Migrating Cattle Egrets and a few Little Blue Herons, a half dozen or so of frigatebirds, Royal Terns, Herring, Ring-billed and Laughing Gulls, one late Northern Gannet, and a couple black dots too far out to call anything. A Gray Kingbird was seen on the way back to the car. Not one Least Tern!

In Miami Shores, Palm Beach County birder Leo Miller was hosting two birders for a big trip around Florida. There was a nice flock of warblers, all feeding at eye level, tame, and in their breeding plumages. Cape May, Prairies, and Palms all showing off for us. A Blue-headed Vireo was hanging out with them. They got their oriole and White-winged Parakeets, and left to find the anis in Ft. Lauderdale. My FOY Common Nighthawk flew over the house at 7:30 sharp.
