I was at Indian Hammocks this morning for an hour (cemetery area)Highlights were:

Great Blue Heron
Osprey
White-winged Dove
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Monk Parakeet
Gray Kingbird
BG Gnatcatcher
N. Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler (male and female)
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler (already the commonest warbler for season)
Black-and-white Warbler
A. Redstart (female)
Ovenbird

I headed to Castellow in the afternoon (4-5 PM). The place was busy with children and parents in some type of scouting event. Bird numbers were not high but had some good ones. Highlights:

Ruby-throated Hummingbird (several)
Rufous Hummingbird (female)
White-eyed Vireo
Philadelphia Vireo (my favorite for the day)
Barn Swallow (one overhead)
BG Gnatcatcher
Cape May Warbler (immature)

Prairie Warbler
