Like what Rock did, I left the house at 9:30 when the rains stopped. I walked 6 avenues east, then caught the #16 Bus which took me 40 blocks north and another miles east to drop me off on the other side of the sidewalk of the park. As soon as I took the short cut (hopping the fence), vireos were singing, and warblers were everywhere. In two ours of walking around Elaine Gordon/Enchanted Forest Park, I found about 75 individual warblers, and many other migrants.

Blue-headed Vireo- 2 or 3
Red-eyed Vireo- 1 or 2
Purple Martin- 1
Gray Catbird- ~30
Summer Tanager
Scarlet Tanager- very nice male

Northern Parula
Black-throated Blue Warbler- first males of the year!
Black-throated Green Warbler
Prairie Warbler- most common; about 20
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler- everywhere
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Wilson's Warbler- one nice male near the Office (just north of the entrance)

At the neighboring Arch Creek Park:

Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Gray Catbird
Northern Parula
Prairie Warbler
Worm-eating Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Indigo Bunting- a few males and females

The birds at Arch Creek were found at the best part of this small park at the north end near the picnic tables.

And back at the house, a few Chimney Swifts and another Red-eyed Vireo singing away as I type this.
