Sunday afternoon before leaving work we heard an Ani vocalizing in the park, then again on Monday while watching an episode of Burn Notice being filmed.  We did not get any looks at the bird on either Monday or Sunday so we waited in hopes of confirming the call as an actual Ani. This morning we got a call from Rangel that he was looking at the Ani in the area where the main road where intersects with the Boy Scout campground.  This is the third day in one week that the bird has either been heard or seen, maybe the bird will stick around the park for little bit this time.  We will wait and see if it does.  Too bad the bird wasn't around for the Cape Florida Birdwalk, as luck would have it.

If you want to give it a go here are directions to the birds last known location. When entering the park make your first right turn after the Ranger Station. This road will lead you to No Name Harbor, park here and walk back east towards the intersection where the campground is located, you will see power lines over the road. This is where Rangel last had the bird.  Good luck :)
