Yellow-billed Cuckoo and farewell

Last night I saw my first Yellow-billed Cuckoo of the year. That's right, I said last night... inside the Aventura PetsMart. Aireo, who works there, found it the other day, and I just had to see this for myself. There it was, perched on a pipe near the ceiling in the back. How silly.

And on that note... for those of you who know me, I leave tomorrow for a temporary job in Pennsylvania, and I will return for what might be only a brief time in July. I just wanted to say that this is a great group and I've really enjoyed the time I've spent with everyone. I will still be around from time to time though, so long as my dad lives in Florida... plus I still need to go to the Dry Tortugas! Next year, money permitting. Take care!
