Started the day before dawn at the Marathon Airport hoping for a late Antillean Nighthawk. I dipped on the bird but was able to notice an abundance of warbler activity. Mostly Common Yellowthroats, Prairie and Palm Warblers. When 8 am rolled around I went over to Curry Hammock and witnessed TONS of birds making their way south. I added a few birds to the day list here before joining Hawkwatch for a couple hours. It was amazing to see Peregrine Falcons just zipping by as the day went on. Afterwards I headed further south to Key West and birded Indigenous Park. Here I was able to pick up Tennesse, Blackburnian and Yellow Warbler. I finally ended at Fort Zachary Taylor and relocated the Smooth-billed Ani. I only found one even though earlier reports state two birds being in the area.
