Gary and I saw the Swainson's Warbler around 6 p.m. along the canoe trail, as Trey had reported earlier. A Prothonotary warbler was in the same area. The trees facing the canal were very birdy with No. Parula, Redstart, Yellow-throated, Black and White, and Prairie warblers. There were at least 4 or more Ovenbirds around, and a Thrush was seen high up in a tree off the trail at the east side of the hammock. The lighting was getting bad to be sure if it was a Swainson's or Grey-cheeked Thrush.
